Christmas Turkey

Daddy fried a turkey on Christmas afternoon. It was cold outside so everyone had a sip or two of a special distilled spirit that G brought over from Tennessee. It turned the dreary day into a "shiney" one. Along with the turkey we had baked ham, rice dressing, mac-n-cheese, corn macque chou, green beans, yams, cauliflower, deviled eggs and coconut cream pie for dessert. I took my afternoon nap while the adults ate. After dinner we went for a drive to see the Christmas lights in River Oaks. What a great holiday we had.

My New Playhouse

Santa brought me a playhouse. It has a doorbell and a mailbox and a lot of other good stuff.

Santa Came To My House (I Knew he Would)

Santa came by and left me some really good stuff. He ate most of his cookies and drank some of his milk. Now I know why he is kinda roly poly. If he eats stuff at all the kids houses in the world it would be hard not to put on a few extra pounds. I guess he has a high metabolism rate. I got some great stuff, purses, colorful rocks, costumes to play doctor and waitress and hair stylist, a Peter Pan puppet show a computer and an etch-a-sketch, some doll clothes for Sarah a beautiful sweater dress and ear muff hat and lots of other stuff. Santa left a note for me to look outside on the back porch. When I went out I saw a beautiful playhouse. I want to thank Santa, Mommy and Daddy, Grammy and G, Nonni and P, Granny Joyce and Uncle Herbie, Uncle Kevin and Aunt Melissa and all of the other nice friends who gave me presents. I'm really gonna have alot of stuff to play with.

Christmas Eve Part 3

After I went to bed the adults opened their gifts.

Christmas Eve Part 2

After Dinner I opened some presents and left out some milk and cookies for Santa. Then I went up to sleep and dream of sugar plum fairies.

Christmas Eve Part 1

Christmas Eve was busy, busy, busy. Lot's of cooking, gift wrapping, last minute trips to the store. We had chicken and sausage gumbo. Well, I had gourmet chicken nuggets and everyone else had gumbo.
